Buying chocolate in bulk can be more convenient than purchasing dozens of small retail packs when you are organising a party, stocking an office kitchen or preparing an event. The key is choosing the right format for the number of people, the way the chocolate will be served and whether individually wrapped pieces are important.
Choose individually wrapped chocolate for easy sharing
Individually wrapped chocolates are especially useful for offices, reception desks, school or community events and party tables because each piece can be handed out separately. Popular bulk formats at Homico include the Cadbury Caramello Koala 72 Pack and Cadbury Freddo Frog 72 Pack.
Use assortment boxes when you want variety
For larger gatherings, an assorted box can give guests more choice without requiring several separate products. The Mars Variety Mix 116 Piece 1.6kg Box combines several well-known Mars favourites, while the Cadbury Variety Mix 110 Piece 1.56kg Box is a Cadbury-focused sharing option.
Full-size bars can work well for workplaces and vending
If you prefer full-size bars rather than mini treats, the KitKat 4 Finger 42g 48 Pack is a bulk format that suits staff rooms, vending, events and care packages.
How much chocolate should you buy?
The right amount depends on the event. For a mixed dessert or lolly table, chocolate may be only one part of the offering. For an office snack supply or a chocolate-focused party table, allow more pieces per person. Individually wrapped packs make it easier to control portions and keep leftovers stored.
